Covenant Praise Group - 2010/11

A good choir needs good direction and purpose, and Covenant's Praise group once again received excellent leadership from Jan Smith, the fearless teacher and musician extraordinaire. Throughout the year many comments were heard about the excellent balance that the choir had. CPG beautifully sang in one voice, honoring unto God. As each note was played this year, the choir went from an average school choir to being crowned the TAPPS AA State Champions for the second year in a row and the third time in the last four years.

Junior High Choir - 2010/11

Under the leadership of Mrs Smith the Junior High Choir proved their diligence when they received straight 1's at ACSI Chior Festival. After all the hard work, the Junior High Choir enjoyed showing their naturally crazy side during the Spring Concert, performing Disney songs from Broadway productions such as Beauty and the Beast, Tarzan, and Mary Poppins while trumpeting kazooz.

Elementary Choir - 2010/11

During the year, both elementary choirs became 'Tuned In' singing praises and creating beautiful music while bringing honor to the Lord. The Pre-K through 3rd grade choir was under the direction of Mrs. Cindy Fore and the Young Believers Choir, 4th-6th grades, was directed by Mrs. Jan Smith. From performing for Grandparents day and Christian Heritage day to singing in Christmas and Spring Concersts, the young choirs had a lot on their plates. The Young Believers Choir competed in ACSI Choir Festival, receiving a superior rating.
