Learning to a Higher Power

Covenant Christian School follows the ASCI requirements for a high school level PE credit which is 135 minutes a week for an 18 week period.  At CCS, we allow our high school students to obtain this credit through participation in school sports.  Most sports practices and games last about 2 hours each and the sport seasons usually lasts 7 to 15 weeks.  All in all, a student is receiving credit for PE by participating for a minimum of 36 hours.

Our seasonal teams are as follows:

FALL: 6 Man Football, Cheerleading, Cross Country, Volleyball

WINTER: Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Cheerleading

SPRING: Baseball, Softball, Track & Field, Golf, Tennis

Being a part of this program means:

1. Put Christ first and do all to the glory of God.
2. All members of the program are equal; each player is important and should be treated as such by the coach and other team members.
3. Winning and success are important, but developing God-given athletic talents and building team concepts are also important.
Everything done in this program is meant to improve the athlete and the team with the emphasis of GOD first, FAMILY second, SCHOOL third, and then SPORTS.
