The Team

This is the home of the Covenant Varsity Cheerleaders, a year-round squad that begins its season with tryouts in the spring and ends with banners for baseball. Conditioning kicks off in the summer when a representative from Fellowship of Christian Cheerleaders comes and teaches new and exciting ways to enliven the fans. The priviledge to pump the guns in the "MUB" helps with becoming physically stable. Practice starts months in advance of basketball in order to properly execute cheers, dances, stunts, and pep rallies. Throughout the year, artistic abilities shine as the creation of elaborate banners visually stimulates the CCS students and players as well. The cheerleaders truly strive to make a joyful noise, not only to encourage the Cougars, but to glorify Christ with a cheerful spirit.
