Learning to a Higher Power

CAMPUS LIFE | CAMPS

Grades 5 and 6

Each year, students in grades 5 and 6 attend overnight camp.  Students leave school campus for Carolina Creek Christian Camp in Huntsville, TX on Wednesday after chapel and return on Friday by 3:30.  Teachers and administration join students and serve as camp chaperones.

Camp is an opportunity for students to bond and for teachers to get to know students in a more casual setting.  Hiking, swimming and rock climbing are among the numerous activities enjoyed by students.  Bible study and guest speakers encourage students to develop their understanding of scripture and expand application of Biblical principles to everyday life.

Camp information will be sent home in Monday letters. For details, check with your child’s teacher.
