At CCS, our National Honor Society sponsors several events. In the fall they organize and execute Operation Christmas Child. In the Spring they assist with the Library during the Annual Used Book Fair.
Most NHS members are also members of Key Club and participate in additional service activities there. NHS also holds two fundraisers to raise money for the NHS Scholarship Fund. Each year, senior NHS members who participate in the fundraisers are given the opportunity to write a responsive essay to apply for the scholarship. The winner of the scholarship is announced at the NHS Banquet in May.
