Secondary Open House
Please join us for our first back to school open house on Monday night, September 13th. This will be an important night for all of our secondary parents. You will have the opportunity to follow your child’s daily schedule class by class. In each room you will hear about class expectations, what will be accomplished through the year, as well as homework and major project responsibilities. This evening is critical in closing the information gap in our triad of school, parent, and student. We will begin the evening with a brief meeting in the gym at 6:30 followed by your classroom visits. You will follow your child’s Friday schedule, allowing you to spend time with each of his/her teachers. You will be done between 8:00 and 8:20, depending on your student’s schedule.
Please make every effort to attend. It is our desire as a staff to communicate effectively with each family this year. This is a night for parents; there is no need for your children to attend this evening. Leave your secondary student home to take care of the younger ones and record the beginning of the game. We will send a schedule home with your student on Friday. If you do not receive it, or lose it, we will have an additional one available for you on Monday night. As an added incentive, we will have a Christian T-shirt day for all students that had parents attend.
